The Norwegian Shakespeare Company stages the best of English-speaking drama tailored specifically for audiences with English as a second language. We are driven to reclaim the poetry and depth of meaning that is inevitably lost in translation. Founded by Elisabeth Dahl in 2012, the company aims to create visually bold, moving and playful productions. We especially look to bring new life to the works of the greatest playwright of them all, William Shakespeare.
